Yios, a lonely mythical boy from the clouds, has trouble finding friends, because his head shines like the sun – until he falls down to Earth, where everything changes.
The short animated film Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Moe! is inspired by Greek mythology and ancient Greek frescoes and pottery. The story is set in two different worlds, a mythological playground built high up in the clouds and our well-known Earth. The main character is young Yiós, who is the son of the Greek god Helios. Like his father, who flies over the Earth every day in his shining chariot, Yiós wears a "sun crown" on his head. It shines brightly, but sadly, it also blinds those around him, and the children in the playground are getting irritated by it. The film is about what it is like to be growing up and feeling different. What it feels like to not fit in and to be pushed aside, to the edge of the clouds.
