Pavla leads what seems like a nice normal life: a husband with IT job, two kids, a beautiful home, and a Pilates class every Monday. However, beneath this exterior, there's a darker truth. Pavla is frequently subjected to her husband's violent sexual advances. One day, Pavla finds herself in the shelter on equal footing with other eight women, each from diverse backgrounds but all united by their experiences of domestic violence. Their everyday life inside may be bleak, but they find solace in humor. Eternal women‘s themes come up as frequently as the numerous cigarettes and the countless cups of coffee. The kindness of strangers makes her problems seem distant. Moreover, when they try to fulfill her old dream. But leaving is only the beginning, because you never just walk away.
