A feature documentary by director Pavel Štingl about Jaroslav Seifert, the most famous Czech poet and the only Czech literary Nobel Prize winner, which covers Seifert's work and its great breadth of different styles and genres. Although Seifert is regarded as a major Czech poet, he worked much of his life as a journalist. He wrote reviews of cultural events and was not only a painter of life, but also its literary illustrator - or commentator. He described the world in which he got around both in his articles and in his memoirs of the wonders of the world. The documentary will include not only filming in the authentic setting of the poet's house in Prague, where his paintings and books and writing desk are still in place, but also stylized touch-ups - pseudo-archives.
