Anika Homolová is a producer and audiovisual manager. She graduated from FAMU in 2021 with a Master's degree in production.
Her last festival success was Carp Xmass, an animated short film directed by Anna Heribanová, which won several awards, including the ARTE Award at Premieres Plans d'Angers 2023, the Grand Prix at ANIMASYROS 2023, a special mention at In the Palace and competed at Annecy 2023. The film was also nominated for the Czech Lion Award 2022.
Another animated short, Way of Sylvie, in which she collaborated with director Verica Kordic, won awards at PIAFF 2021 and other festivals.
In recent months, she has been working on projects at the intersection of art and technology, such as interactive installations, interactive video mapping, and virtual and augmented reality, in collaboration with the creative studio 3dsense.
Anika is currently developing 3 film projects as a producer. Acorn's Adventure is an animated feature film in development under the company moloko film (currently attending the APD market). Breasts is a short animated film Anika is developing with Anna Heribanová, following on from their successful collaboration on Carp Xmass. And finally a feature film by Mexican director and editor Rolando Garduño about an expat, Ollin, in search of self-identity.
