Life, Dream, Love, Death, Poetry are the key concepts of the five stanzas of the poem Nothing More by the well-known Czech left-oriented poet of the first half of the 20th century František Halas. The film sticks to the structure of the poem with its five chapters, but at the same time transports us eighty years later, to the subjective images of director Vít Pancíř. In the film, he also uses a certain amount of irony, or rather self-irony, to his intention to make such a film with a symbolic-metaphorical structure, which does not explain anything to the viewer and leaves them at the mercy of a flow of images evoking the rational elusiveness of life.
