Peter Miller has been working for the Immigration Office in London for many years. One day a strange phone call from Prague interrupts his usual life rhythm. A single mother, who is in a hospital after a car accident, named him as a responsible person to take care of her child Emma in case of emergency. She claims Emma is his daughter. Peter is absolutely shocked. He has no children and no desire to have any either. But what if Emma really is his daughter? In this period he meets Marie, who, like Peter only lives for her work. Marie decides to help all of them. They must have a credible story for the strict social worker who watches them closely. So begins the game of love ... But how will it end? Sometimes miracles do happen.
