Czech athlete Jan Němec is the world’s most successful grass skier: twelve times World Champion, nine times World Cup winner and winner of two Crystal Globes. Unfortunately, grass skiing has never received much media interest and not many people even know about Jan. He lives a modest life in North Moravia and travels to competitions by himself, without any supporting team, sleeping in a tent. Having reached all the goals in grass skiing, Jan finds himself a new goal to reach – the Olympic Games. He leaves the Czech Republic for Costa Rica where winter skiing is a developing sport, which should allow him to build a national team by himself and to qualify for the Olympics. However, the administrative process in Costa Rica is overwhelming and Jan is not able to represent his new homeland...
