A sequel of successful Slovak poetic tragicomedy from the beginning of the eighties based on a novel by its leading lady Milka Zimková about the life of a village woman Johanka. After twelve years from the first part the heroine is raising a daughter of her daughter who is living in an unhappy marriage. Johanka meets an agreeable man Jan and she has to decide whether to let a new man enter her life.
