This feature-length documentary by Miroslav Janek, a “musical road movie with twenty stops,” documents a special event whose protagonists never actually meet in person. It was shot in the fall of 2009, when a total of 23 musicians and bands participated in a countrywide event called For Semafor. Documentary filmmaker and cameraman Miroslav Janek took on the role of chronicler. With a small crew, he traveled to small recording studios, homes, theatres and cottages in Prague, Brno, Pardubice, Valašská Bystřice, Kokovice and beyond, where contemporary musicians paid tribute to Jiří Suchý and Jiří Šlitr by offering up their own interpretations of the beloved duo's songs.
