A history of the fifty editions of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. How did one of toaday's major A-list festivals, which for most of its history was at the mercy of political manipulation and hypocritical slogans, develop? The Karlovy Vary festival - as the film fans of today have never seen it before.
